New Energy Education Workshops for 2008
Dear Educators,
The Energy Smart Students Program has BIG plans for 2008 and we hope you are a part of them. We have a number of workshops scheduled throughout the State featuring NEW Instructional Materials developed by the National Energy Foundation.
An Energy Smart Students workshop will raise your Energy IQ – and increase your ability to promote understanding and action among your students.
Attendees will receive FREE curriculum correlated to the New York State Learning Standards in Math, Science, Technology, Social Studies, English Language Arts, and Family and Consumer Science.
Curriculum includes: an Energy Education Teacher’s Guide; an information-packed CD that includes the Conceptual Framework for Energy Education, basic information on energy and an Energy Glossary; color posters; and class sets of the Energy Action Challenge to use with your students.
