Junior Solar Sprint (JSS) Educator and Mentor Workshops begin in one week
There is still time to register! Join NESEA at one of their FREE Teacher & Mentor Workshops this Winter and Spring. Workshops are designed to help prepare participants for a successful experience in leading middle school kids through Junior Solar Sprint, where kids design, build and compete with model solar electric cars. Teams can enter their cars in local design and race competitions with top winners invited to NESEA's annual championship. See photos on our web site at

Your young engineers will deepen their understanding about solar energy, math, physical science and craftsmanship. This project is great for the classroom, after school, home schools, youth groups, museum and environmental centers, or just groups of friends.

AT THE WORKSHOP YOU WILL GET:
*A basic parts kit and a chance to get hands-on at the workshop
*A packet of literature, JSS lesson plans, resources, area event information, and a carbon cycle activity and climate change curriculum
*A chance at door prizes including a model car solar panel
*Refreshments & a simple dinner
