Teachers, parents, students: Whether you're involved with a team or not, you should try to attend this critical event, Sunday, June 12, at the Springfield Science Museum Quadrangle, Springfield, MA. If it's raining, the race will be held in a large gym nearby. Teams from Maryland to Maine will compete in four categories, performance (on a track), craftsmanship, technical merit, and innovation. See all the great ideas of dozens of middle-school students with solar-powered cars, all the best from about 20 area races throughout the Northeast. Bring your students to get inspired to race next year.
I promise excitement!
