Presentation files from sustainability physics conference publicized

The power point presentations and portable document format files from a March 2011 conference on the physics of sustainability are now available on the web. Art Hobson, a physics professor at U. Arkansas Fayetteville, attended and says the event "was an excellent, informative conference with good speakers."
The conference, hosted by the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory at UC Berkeley, was titled Physics of Sustainable Energy II, and lasted two days, March 5-6, 2011, and there were 24 speakers in 5 threads:
Energy policy issues
Environmental effects of fossil fuels
Decarbonizing transportation
Enhanced efficiency buildings
Renewable Energy

Sponsors were the American Physical Society (Forum on Physics/Society, Topical Group on Energy Research and Applications) and American Association of Physics Teachers.
