Cost: $125 Benefit: 5 PDPs, wind turbine to take to classroom
Geared towards educators grades 5-12
Course Limit: Twelve participants
Description:
Learn about excting new technologies in Wind Turbines and Wind Power generation through simple model turbines that can be used in the classroom. Use the theme of wind power to teach about engineering, circuitry, electromagnets, and more. This is similar to the KidWind project. We will build turbines that attendees can take back to their classrooms to use as they introduce wind power to their students. You will be able to keep the model turbine and blades you use in your workshop project.
