   <description>May 3, 2013, the University of Maine hosted the Maine Wind Blade Challenge and the Windstorm Challenge. Roughly 30 Teams of students from across the state built blades using advanced techniques and materials, then assembled them into a standard apparatus see how much energy they could generate in two minutes.
