Does the store specialize in education?
Yes! Many of our products grew out of things I designed for my classes at Rhode Island School of Design [where a founder still teaches]. An example is our wind sensors, which grew out of a project that needed to sense human breath up close, but without a mask or other encumbrance.

Does the store offer tools, like soldering irons, test equipment, pliers, wire strippers, etc?
We don’t have much of that - we recommend Electronix Express (east coast USA) for most of those things.

Does the store offer kits?
Yes we many kits for microcontrollers and our wireless JeeLabs modules.

Does the store offer prepared boards like Arduino and Raspberry Pi?
Yes we stock most of the Arduino catalog, but not in great quantity. We also have small quantities of Raspberry Pi to complement our boards that work with both platforms. Our own specialized Ardiuno clone, the BBB and the Educato, make superb first Arduinos, in our opinion.

Does the store have any specialties, any in-house products.
As I mentioned above the Bare Bones Board (world’s first Arduino workalike) Educato, Pulse Sensor, Wind Sensor, Current Sensor, SI114 Proximity Sensors, JeeLabs low-cost Radio Boards.

Does the store offer bulk discounts?

Yes we do. We also have various discounts for students and educators.

Does the store offer a discount or state-approved contract for educators or schools?
Yes
Does the store offer a discount via click-through fundraisers like GoodShop.com or iGive?
Not on our radar screen yet.

What are the typical shipping costs? Does the store offer international shipping?

We try to be competitive on our shipping prices because we realize it’s a point of comparison for students on a budget. We do ship internationally and there are live shipping quotes after you enter an address.

Does the store offer technical support before/after purchase?
Of course, and we answer our telephone.
