Energy Sources Blitz Tour—Ohio Energy Project

Teachers will spend two days visiting Ohio energy sites demonstrating various energy sources, electricity generation, alternative energy and energy conservation. Participants will receive a free kit of curriculum, equipment and materials to incorporate energy education into their classroom.
Co-sponsored by Ohio Energy Project, AEP, AEP Ohio, AMP Public Power Partners, Dayton Power & Light, Honda of America, Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation and Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives.
10 contact hours for CEU credits.
Sessions approximately 7-9 p.m. Day One and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Day Two.
Workshop will tour energy sites around northwest Ohio.
Participants document how they will use the knowledge gained from the tour to teach others about energy.
$50 deposit payable to "Ohio Energy Project" upon acceptance. The full deposit will be refunded at the completion of the Energy Sources Blitz.
Food, lodging, charter bus transportation and materials during the tour are available to eligible participants.
Applications will be accepted until the workshop is full.
