Sustainable Energy Workshop I: Energy Audits, Wind Power, and Solar Photovoltaics
Teachers will gain knowledge and hands-on experience with renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies to introduce Energy Smart Schools, Solar Energy, and Wind Energy to the classroom. The workshop is FREE and participants receive six Act 48 credit hours, lunch, and over $170 of teaching resources and “toys” including: a functional model wind turbine, a solar energy kit, a multi-meter, an LED light bulb, books, DVDs, a resource binder and flashdrive.
