Battery-Based Solar Electric Systems

In this all-day workshop, students will learn what installers, code officials, and homeowners need to know about battery-based solar electric systems - exploring unique system components and how they work, types of batteries, how batteries work, proper installation of batteries, battery maintenance, design guidelines, battery bank sizing, array sizing, and much more. Discussion includes common mistakes made by designers and installers as well as common misconceptions about battery-based systems and code requirements for a successful systems. Participants will receive a PDF MOSEIA certificate for 7 CEUs.
