Clean Tech curriculum for NYC

CleanTech, Solar One's new high school curriculum, engages students grades 9-12 in design, innovation, problem solving, economics, and policy around emerging clean technologies. It introduces students to the emerging green industries through STEM focused reading material, research projects and hands-on labs. During the PD teachers will:
• Participate in hands on STEM activities from our curriculum
• Explore methods for integrating environmental education and sustainability across all subject areas
• Discover methods for school greening initiatives such as: starting school gardens, improving recycling, and reducing electricity consumption
All teachers attending will gain access to Solar One's curriculum.

The GDL Professional Development Workshop is FREE for all 9th – 12th NYC teachers, lunch will be provided. The PD will take place at Baruch College Campus High School, centrally located in Manhattan one block from Madison Sq. Park. Subways 6, N & R.
