Integrating the Sciences

Xraise Outreach Program at Cornell University is holding a Science Teacher Workshop on Saturday May 16th, 2015 from 8:30am – 3:30pm for interested HS science teachers. The workshop will take place at the eXploration Station (adjacent to Wilson Synchrotron Lab) on Cornell University campus. The theme of the workshop is \"Integrating the Sciences\" We will have Cornell faculty and researchers present about x-ray fluorescence, signal transduction processes, a laboratory investigation titled Biocircuits, among other topics. Biocircuits is part of our lending library of laboratory equipment. Once a teacher has been presented the investigation, they gain access to borrow the lab equipment from our lending library for use in their own classroom, free of charge.

Registration is limited to first 40 applicants so please RSVP early
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants

NOTE: Unfortunately, due to budget limitations, we will only be able to provide travel reimbursement up to $50 dollars. You will receive a mileage reimbursement form at the workshop. We still hope you can join us.
