Solarize Your World

You are invited to join the Concord Consortium’s “energy team” from Sunday, June 10, until Tuesday, June 12, at the York Harbor Inn in York Harbor, Maine, for an interactive “Solarize Your World” workshop. The workshop will introduce you to energy science and engineering design projects that bridge classroom learning with authentic real-world applications. Lodging, meals, and mileage reimbursement will be provided and participants will receive a $400 stipend for completing the workshop.
This project provides students with opportunities to think and work like scientists and engineers by equipping them with innovative technologies (e.g., Energy3D, a free CAD software: ) to solve real-world problems and comprehensive curricula for learning knowledge and skills needed by cleantech employers.

This project is funded by generous grants from the National Science Foundation and General Motors (GM).

Limited to 25 participants, so please register ASAP.

The Solarize Your World curricula aligns with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS): ESS1 (Earth science related to seasons), PS3 (physical science related to energy), and ETS1 (engineering, technology, and applications of science).
