Don't miss this great opportunity!
On September 20 from 4pm-6pm , Jan McLaughlin, Department of Education
Science Consultant, will lead a working session focused on connections
between Environmental Education and the New Hampshire Frameworks for Science
Literacy (the new state science standards.) This is an event you don't want
to miss!
The frameworks are full of connections to the environment, including
concepts like adaptation, environmental change, pollution,
renewable/nonrenewable resources, and more! This is a chance to learn more
about the frameworks, get Jan's input on how EE can best help teachers as
they integrate these concepts into their classrooms, connect your programs
with the frameworks, and more.
Please RSVP by Friday, September 15 if you'd like to join us. The session
will be held at the Conservation Center in Concord, and hosted by NH Project
Learning Tree. Registration is free for members of NHEE, and $20 for
nonmembers (this will get you into the event and cover a 1-year membership.)
Please make checks payable to NHEE and send to Beth Lesure, NHEE c/o NHPLT,
54 Portsmouth ST., Concord, NH 03301.
