WIND ENERGY DEMONSTRATION FOR 5th and 6th GRADERS LED BY TEENS
DO YOU... Watch TV? Use the air conditioner? Play video games?
Ride in a car? Microwave a meal? Turn on a light? Can you power your Xbox
from the wind? How much energy do you use?
Come to the Wind Power Demonstration!
Goodwin Memorial Library, in Hadley, MA

FREE and open to all kids in grades 5 - 6
Two high school students have developed this demonstration after
participating in a special wind energy program funded by the Massachusetts
Technology Collaborative and developed by the Girl Scouts of Western
Massachusetts and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.
Come to this demonstration and check out just what a wind turbine is. You
will experience: - Hands-on fun with miniature wind turbines
