The Cape Ann Climate Change Network, the Sawyer Free Library, and the City of Gloucester present a Clean Energy Fair in Gloucester, MA on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006.
The fair will focus on reducing energy use and promoting alternative energy sources for residences and small businesses.
Features:
* Speakers will give talks on energy related topics
* Exhibits from both nonprofit and for profit organizations
* Demonstrations
* Free admission to the public
* Free parking
* Hourly door prizes
* Food and drink for sale
* A large crew of enthusiastic volunteers

New technologies, climate change solutions, and cost savings will be emphasized. This event represents the first clean energy fair of its kind on the North Shore to date.

For the purpose of the Clean Energy Fair, clean energy is defined as: energy generated from renewable energy sources that are environmentally friendly such as solar, wind, biomass, and small hydropower. All services/products/processes used to increase the efficiency of traditional energy will also be spotlighted

We have an exceptional site location, the Field House at the Gloucester High School (see link below).

The Clean Energy Fair will be presented in conjunction with the 12th annual Gloucester Health Fair, an event that draws 800 attendees. We expect a very strong turnout.

There is a great group of people making this fair happen and we would love to have you participate and help build community in the clean energy field.

Further information about the fair and energy related issues can be found on the Cape Ann Climate Change Networks' website: http://www.capeannenergy.org
