* - Activities for all learning levels

* - Receive $50 worth of teaching materials
* - Learn about accessible educational resources
The Institute is designed for the following K-8 educators:
- science - classroom
- math - special Education
- technology - pre-service
- engineering - substitute
Aides, curriculum specialists, home schoolers, and administrators are welcome.
Locations:
Courses are facilitated by museums, nature centers, aquariums, zoos, and conservancies by the site educators. There are 8 regions in Massachusetts.
Each region has 4 - 7 sites that participants will visit. If you click below on your Region, you will see the sites you will be visiting, a brief description of the activities that you will be doing, and a link to each individual site participating in the Institute. Some sites may require physical activity. Please contact the MITS office for further information.

Course Options:
Attend 9 days of class for the following options:
Option 1. Receive:
- 90 Professional Development Points
- MITS Certificate of Completion.
Option 2. Receive:
- 90 Professional Development Points
- MITS Certificate of Completion.
- Earn 3 - 4 graduate credits from local state colleges (for an additional expense).
Cost (Not including cost of graduate credits):
The one-time registration fee of $125 is due with the application. If you submit the application on-line, please mail payment to guarantee your place.
MITS accepts checks, money orders, and purchase orders.
Sorry, MITS does not accept credit cards at this time. The fee is
non-refundable after the 7th of June. (Sorry, no exceptions)

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
