Do you know that your school district could get FREE SunViewer software that uses real-time data from an operating solar array. It helps teachers of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by presenting renewable energy topics using live data from an actual, operational photovoltaic (PV) array; so a school does NOT need a PV array on its building to teach students about PV.
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is pleased to offer SunViewerT software licenses to New York state teachers, grades 5 through 12, in private or public schools (excluding Nassau and Suffolk counties).
Awards will be based on how the school district plans to incorporate the software into its lessons, projects, or curricula. Only one license per school district will be distributed.
Please see the request document for information and APPLY TODAY!
