The New York City Department of Education GSA Green Cup Energy Challenge
Running from November 4 to December 2, the Green Schools Alliance Green Cup Energy Challenge is an opportunity for students, teachers, and staff to discover they have the power to save energy in their schools. Top schools can share in over $100,000 in cash prizes!! Register by October 27.

The Green Cup Challenge creates a friendly rivalry between nearby participating schools to grow awareness and community, while conserving energy and decreasing your carbon footprint. Schools who take the Challenge work together to reduce electricity consumption over a period of four weeks. This Challenge is only for NYC DOE schools.
