Innovate to Mitigate climate change competition - deadline soon

Innovate to Mitigate wants students or student groups to submit ideas about how to address climate change by reducing greenhouse gases.

Students will compete for a chance to win prize money and earn recognition from peers, community and experts.

In Round 1, student submit a brief statement (up to 250 words) describing one or more ideas for how to reduce greenhouse gases. Deadline: March 9, 2015
The most promising ideas will qualify for Round 2.
Round 2 participants will expand on the details about how and why their idea(s) will reduce greenhouse gases in a 2-minute video and a paper (max 1200 words). 1st prize: $4,000. 2nd prize $2,500. Public choice award $500.
