Program: Education. Environment
Summary: The Foundation was created to enhance the quality of life in areas where we provide services. Our ongoing challenge is to create opportunities for solutions to educational and environmental issues. Our educational priorities include: classroom based education for k-12 students; innovative scholarship and university partnerships that support and advance underserved members of our community; skills training that helps people of all ages to lead more productive lives. Our environmental priorities include projects that support the sustainability of our natural resources; programs & projects that inspire and educate young people about their connection too and responsibility for the preservation of the environment; projects that seek to preserve open spaces for future generations.

Connect a Million Minds

Time Warner Cable's Connect a Million Minds program offers funding for work in their service areas. They are partners with the Coalition for Science After School, as are we,

Exelon grants for events

Exelon, a company owning power plants in several states, offers funding in those areas specifically for programs or events.
