Central California KidWind Challenge & Wind Exploration Day

Join KidWind for a KidWind Challenge and Wind Exploration Day in central California. If you have creative students who love to tinker and problem solve or who are interested in engineering, electricity, or alternative energy, the KidWind Challenge is a great opportunity.

At this event, teams test their turbines for energy output in a wind tunnel, present their turbine design and build process to a panel of judges. Top performing teams at regional KidWind Challenges are invited to attend the 2023 National KidWind Challenge.

This event will also have a number of INSTANT wind challenges for educators who would like to experience a KidWind Challenge, but lack the time and resources to prepare properly.

You can bring as many students as you would like -- just register ahead of time! The first 10 coaches to bring students will also receive a FREE Advanced Wind Energy Kit to assemble and take home.
